Fall of 2018 has been busy

In October AFDA co-sponsored with Matthews/Aurora Funeral Solutions,  a great day of continuing education which was attended by more than 70 area funeral Directors earning  6 CEU Credits.

November is Hospice Appreciation Month, we had 2 representatives from Community Hospice join us for our November dinner meeting.

AFDA made a donation of $1500. to Catholic Charities to help supoort families during the Holidays in Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties. We sponsored Wreaths Across America, which helps place a wreath on all the graves at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery and our funeral directors will be collecting toys to donate to Toys for Tots at our December 13, Holiday Party

Lions Eye Bank

Start off the New Year with 2 credits! The Adirondack Funeral Directors Association is sponsoring the Lions Eye Bank on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 1-3pm at the Holiday Inn, Saratoga Springs for 2 credit hours. $10.00 per person for members, $25.00 per person for non-members and all checks payable to AFDA (due at sign in). ****Please RSVP to Jamie Nevins flynnbrosinc@gmail.com or 695-3138 by noon Friday, January 2, 2015
